Hi there...chances are if you are reading this you are not especially a 'closet' Harry Potter fan...but in case you are here you can be safe and say anything you wish about your theories (even if you don't have great cannon knowledge, because there is exactly a 35.4 and 1/2 percent chance I will notice...that means and a 64.6 and 1/2 percent chance I will not those are betting odds my friends!) Anyhoo much love to you...and also to the closet...watch Conan late on NBC he wears his geekyness with pride, and will give you strength...and if it doesn't he will probably make you laugh Much Love

*scratches head*
You know, you have a point about people on this board not being very much in Harry's closet....
*thinks a bit*
I'll get back to you on that one... in the meantime, anyone have a slightly different angle for this board? Like maybe crazy experiences with people who take Potter too far, or who make stupid mistakes in dealing with HP?

I always assumed this board would eventually be filled up with squee-ing fangurls fantasizing about being locked in the cupboard under the stairs with young Harry. Or in a broom closet in Hogwarts with whatever other young male they are fixated on.
Which brings up the obvious question...when will we get a forum called "Hermione's Library Niche"?
;D

I'll be the first to confess , I was in Harry's closet for quite some time. The whole situation is rather amusing, but over the course of my residency, I got to know the place rather well. A dear friend of mine had recently received his visa and is in the process of moving out of Harry's closet and into Potterholics 'R' Us. One random observation: Harry doesn't get his Quidditch robes dry-cleaned nearly enough ... " :'(But-" " >:(I don't care how many snitches you've caught in those pants, send them away! They're walking on their own!" "But that's the Snitch ." "*walking away*" Later Dayz, The Oracle

(actually I just think his character is interesting....he's nothing to squee over... and I wouldn't want to know him in real life....) I think Arthur Weasley or Dumbledore (much, much younger, mind you) would make good husbands though. Yeah, I'm no fun :-P LOL

I've only seen the first and third films, never read any of the books. But Hermione (sp?) looks like she's gonna be hot in the next few films so I will probably watch the rest.

Ah, Emma Watson...If only she wasn't such trailer-trash in real life. And about a decade older. Sigh...

I have read all the books and seen all the movies. And while I'm not nearly as HP-obsessed as many of the other people here, I have at least a vague idea of what they seem to be discussing here...sometimes.

Is she really? She seemed nice in the interviews I've seen... how is she trashy? Lolua, you want to handle this one? You can rail against Emma's white-trash nature better than anyone else I know. Perhaps it's jealousy over Ron/Rupert Grint, perhaps it's repressed anger over the white-trash family next door, perhaps it's just your awesome command of the fine art of invective, but you're better at tearing her apart than I am. I just like to smile quietly to myself and dream of what Hermione will look like in ten years or so...

Big Brother hope you don't mind but I shall take the Emma bashing...Lolua says it’s Ok One thing I will say is that I do not use the term trash because it makes me sad, but there are descriptions that I feel are perhaps more crass and possibly more mean, the word common jumps out into my mind. Anyway…where to start. There is such thing as class some people are born with it some are not...Emma Watson has no class. For one thing it appears she has no sense of other people. She tells other people's stories or forces them to recant tales during interviews. On TRL she decided to begin a story that Dan Radcliff was forced to finish...making him markedly uncomfortable. Also I am loathe to discuss others fashion sense because really I do not care, but take these three pictures...is she trying to appear ugly? www.mugglenet.com/pics/et2.shtml www.danradcliffe.us/galleries/TRL_24May2004/TRL_24May20041.htmwww.danradcliffe.us/galleries/abc_preview_13april2004/ABC_Preview_April2004-f0020.htmI will give her the fact that Europe has somewhat of a different fashion sense than America but "Bling Bling" went out years ago, (as any Cosmo girl like myself would know) as did the Sgt. Pepper's jacket (I believe that jacket went out as the 70's came in and that is being kind). Also her hair...ok ok my friends Hermione is allowed to have bad hair but Emma is taking her role one step too far, it is not a necessity that the actress who plays Hermione always has ratty hair too. My sister used to have terribly knotted, ratty hair and Emma's hair is so much better than hers was...so there is no excuse for her stylists not to fix it up a bit for interviews. My sisters hair got 100% better so Emma's can, too. I hope for the sake of all who feel the need to fantasize about her that either you are impressed quite easily, or that Emma Watson will magically one day have the class of Catherine Zeta-Jones, and the fashion sense and hair of Nicole Kidman. I also suggest that you guys use the old Mary Kate and Ashley 18th birthday countdown websites and merely change the birth date and name to suit Emma Watson That is all...

OK- She dresses funky, how does this change the fact that she's gonna be hot in a few years?
