*shouts over wall* From the looks of it, I may just be one of the few womenfolk who doesn't mind Emma so much. * jumps at sound of raging mob on the other side of wall* She's just now fourteen or something, right? Fourteen year old girls just tend to be ... flighty *and, more often than not, 'classless', especially around their friends (and let's not ignore the fact that her friends are adored by millions of ickle fangurls which could make any bird a bit cuckoo)*. About her fashion-sense ... I'd like to think that she's been given poor advice from an event stylist ... seeing as she claims to be wearing her own clothing in the movie, and she doesn't look much different than my younger sister there. White-trash is a bit harsh, because, depending on who you're talking to, everybody's white-trash, aren't they? *waits a few moments for unruly commotion to die down* *peers from behind wall* PlusmybestfriendisinlovewithhersoIcan'tbebashinghisfuturewife, canI? *ducks flaming projectile object*

Now that pic I like. Still, for me at least, it's not so much Emma Watson, either in her current self, in her performance in the films, or even as she might become in a decade or so, that gets me hot under the collar. After all, she is, at present, literally exactly half my age, her acting performance is best described as "adequate", and in ten years we all could be dead or comatose. It's the very idea of a flesh-and-blood Hermione. A girl with that much brains, with that much heart, with that much style...not in the "wears classy clothes" sense of the word style, but in the "can actually intimidate the Weasley Twins" sense of Style...a girl like that can turn a guy's head. Who cares what the heck she wears? I rarely look below the neck on a woman, anyways. Who cares if she's gout bushy, unmanageable hair? I happen to like big unruly hair, and my own hair refuses to do anything that can be even remotely described as "orderly". Who cares if she's got big buck teeth? That got fixed fairly quickly, as anyone who noticed the fact that her parents were both dentists could have predicted. Who cares if she's got a tough-to-pronounce name? She'll be used to spelling it out and correcting people's pronounciation, so she won't go ballistic once we're married and people trip over her new last name, too. The real Hermione, being sadly fictional, is not available in my personal pool of possible breeding partners. Neither is Emma Watrson, due to age-of-consent laws here to the north of the Mason-Dixon line, not to mention the Atlantic Ocean and several social classes that physically and socially separate us. But since even those barriers pale beside the one between my sad reality and Hermione's angsty fictional universe, I and every other guy who actually appreciates geeky, brainy, strong-willed women, will have to pour our lust for Hermione into poor Miss Watson.

I can sense I am living up to my title of ‘Slytherin Princess’ a bit too well, to Emma Watson fans out there…indeed you are right she is young. Perhaps my branding of her as ‘classless’ was a bit premature and for that I am sorry. As for insulting her outfits…I think they deserve a bit of insulting, now I am not clear who picks Emma’s particular outfits but I do know that most celebrities hire expensive stylists to chose their ‘look’ for them. I pity her for having a stylist that only sees her as Hermione (though I feel that others here may appreciate the look ) I do have strong opinions on famous people, as unfair as that may seem. Though I often feel sorry for them, for example, I have refused to read anything more about Prince William, whom I used to adore, for the simple fact that he did not choose a life of public service it was put upon him so it felt to me exceedingly unfair to ogle him. Actors and actresses generally chose to be in the public eye and though I do understand the trials that brings, they pay people exorbitant amounts of money to keep up appearances, and keep the public interested. Actors and actresses, like politicians, prosper or fail partially based on popular opinion. Anyhoo…I becoming way too serious about this subject. I really do have great respect for all actors and actresses, and to prove my diplomacy (and the fact that I am not evil ) I will now say one or two niceties about Emma, she has a very nice face and she has some untapped charm about her she may yet prove to be a very stylish attractive young woman. So the mob has spoken and I hope we made sense and were not callous this time but a bit friendly PS there is never ever any projectile flaming things from this side of the wall…all who opine will be welcomed (I just forgot to post the “Equal opportunity opiner” sign Much Love
