Er, hello. I've never been much for introductions, but I guess I'll get this over with. Call me LP, my real name is Alex, but I'm unreasonably paranoid about relatively minor things, and it makes me uncomfortable to be referred to online by semi-strangers by my real name, plus "LP" only requires 3 keys to be pressed, whereas "Alex" requires 5, so it's easier for the rest of you anyway. I'm a high-school senior in what, as I like to say, is one of the last strongholds of good public education you can find in the state of Texas. I'm here because I "know" Big Brother from another discussion board, and I'm a mild Harry Potter fan myself (though one of my younger sisters can quote entire tracts of all the books). Hmm, so yes, that's me, hello everybody.

Well, when I asked Martin to join my board, I should have known he would invite strange folk here, and you were the first. Don't get me wrong, I embrace the strangeness of others. If I didn't, I'd never be able to hold a conversation with Big Brother. I don't remember ever naming LEGO men, but then, they weren't really mine to name. I just played with them. I think they appreciated that I gave them trees, though, when my brother just maimed them with Excedra Star Empire ships. I'm half tempted to just call you "Lorpie" as Martin does whenever he talks about you to me offline. Every time I type "LP" I will remember my own education at LPHS, which no one has ever heard of unless they think that a certain band originated there. Which it didn't. I'm pretty sure. We were so not cool enough for that. I hear you ran to tell the GolemLabs people about my little Canadian joke. Good on you. Welcome to the forum, LP, and thanks for giving me excuses to embarrass my Big Brother!

Yes, welcome indeed, Lorpy!
And Rachie, I never had LEGO men fight against the Excedra Star Empire. They fought FOR the Excedra Star Empire (or, earlier, the 240-Galena Team) against the evil machinations of the Leadock Fleet (or, later, the Stantonian Empire). Who consisted of green army men, a few TONKA trucks, and a pair of ping-pong paddles used as flying saucers with some sort of big cannon-thing sticking out the front. The two sides did endless battle for possession of a town full of Fisher-Price Little People buildings.
Ah, childhood innocence, when an entire afternoon could be blissfully whiled away with an endless succession of firey, heroic deaths for your own alter ego...
