Hey, Marcus, Mart tells me you rewrote his story, so I figure I should ask you. Not enough to justify an e-mail and others might be wondering as well.
What exactly happened at the end of the little adventure with my mind-mage, Hicks, and Pablo Losada? And what planet was that on (I need to mention it in my coming orders)?

Lorp, Question 1 - Since I was stuck on how to write the last act, I waited longer than I normally have... just long enough for Martin to write me and say, "Man, I really didn't like how that ended, could you re-write it?" So I was more than happy to. In the original script, Tiller was a HELL of a lot more talkative, and since they knew that Losada was only going to betray them later, they threw him out the airlock. I was going to put my next posting here as "The Airlock is for Non-Human Biomatter Only." Question 2 - Well, the story ends at the University of Wilke's Star, whad'dya you think?

Well, thanks a bunch for cutting down on the guy's speaking. I think if he'd been much more conversational than that, I would have had to commit hara-kiri . And I didn't know if it was actually on Wilke's Star, or if Pablo had just been mind-funted into thinking he was on Wilke's Star. So he actually did get enrolled in the school?! EDIT: Ooooh, censorship is getting clever now .

Yes, Losada is actually enrolled in the school. I figure anyone who can rewrite someone's memory, can rewrite a registrar's memory, too... or just long enough to get the password, have him enrolled as a grad student, and have him on a full-ride TA scholarship. That's not too difficult with a mage of Tiller's power. Otherwise, yes, Tiller can talk, he just doesn't like to. And yes, Kiv - ImpSec doesn't count when it comes to using airlocks.
