OK, I'm nearly done modelling the type of ship flown by our own Captain Weathers. I've got the entire body of the ship done, I just need to add in the weapons and engines, but here's a preview so far (and this one conforms exactly to Martin's specs, even if it doesn't look as nice). since geocities doesn't do image hosting, go to: www.geocities.com/Lorpius_Prime and then click on the link to the file princeofwales.JPG

I'm loathe to say "That 70's Ship," but don't you think that a light cruiser would be a little more... um, lively?

It looks a lot better now that I've got most of the turrets and missile pods put on it, should be done before too long. And just what do you think you're doing posting on here when I don't have my story yet?!

All right, I'm done with modelling the Prince of Wales cruiser, the original pic has been taken down and replaced with 4 angled shots that are much more colorful. If it looks ugly, blame Martin, I used the exact same shapes and color schemes as on his Earth Fleet website.
Oh, and 10 crowns to whoever guesses which star-cluster is depicted in the background. ;D

Personally, I think that the top of the thing has a far-too-big chunk of absolutely nothing. It looks like a helicopter-landing pad or something.

Well, the big box shape doesn't bother me so much; after all, this is space, and ships do not have to aerodynamic is they are going to stay in vacuum. BTW, now that it's finished, BIG improvement. Now that I've finished the story, you have no reason to complain... although why you wanted to ax Joe Howard is beyond me.

But I guess it's a form of self-protection, as long as I end each act on the verge of death, I don't fear that you'll kill me so much. Plus, the rest of my crew is so much more interesting, Joe didn't seem to have near as much personality. Of course, I still have a couple ways that I could keep him alive, if I really felt like it. ;D

Thats great, but you left out the spoiler and the flame patterns on the hood! Well, if I ever figure out how to use skins, I'll be sure to add them. Oh, and many thanks to Martin for designing the new index.html file for me.
