I need some advice here...
Although I enjoy Paul's character (Sharif Tian-yi Adams), I feel like his character needs a kick in the pants. It hasn't had a chance to really affect anybody else. Any ideas on how to get his story line into the big picture of the TI universe?

He could sell a line of "I kicked the devil in the nuts and all I got was this lousy T-shirt" shirts.
He could finally actually mention BY NAME who killed his family, since that got left a bit vague. Or is some big revelation coming along the lines of "I killed my own family".
You could go the whole Falun Gong route. Have a few thousand people start worshipping him as the messiah. With his apparently-powerful Mage gifts, he may be able to stay out of ImpSec clutches for a while. Have some of his followers start claiming that, since the Messiah has finally arrived, it must now be time to finally overthrow the hated, irreligious Middle Kingdom regime and install a benevolent theocracy under the Messiah (with his loyal original followers sitting at the right hand of the Lord, naturally).

So he is the Messiah! Yes, I thought so!
Hmm...Of course, you could always send him to New Israel, see what kind of trouble that stirs up once word gets out of his identity.

Hmmm...yes, a Messiah who's not a Christian, that should be amusing. Half the Fundies will want to worship him as God, half will want to kill him as an apostate.

Which is about par for the course, if you think about it... "And we all know what happens to saviors, don't we, tsvarisch?" - E:FC, 2nd Season

Well, as long as we have the Messiah, why not an NPC anti-christ to go along?

I like it! There's nothing more I like than a nemesis for a player character. That may be the solution!

Yeah... I'm not getting this whole "Messiah" thing. What is Paul doing?

Paul wanted to go for a messiah character - so I let him, just to see what would happen. Unfortunately, nothing much - this week, he simply wrote me and told me he was unable to come up with a decent story this week (which he blamed on Kurt Vonnegut's writing style - which I personally I love, and he, the opposite). So I slipped in my Antichrist of the Week (tm) and went from there. Hopefully we can get Paul rolling on some plot.
