Ah, chasing that crucial NASCAR-fan demographic.
What the hell, I mean, C.H.I.P.S. already had several revivals, Battlestar Galactica is coming back as a series on the Sci-Fi Channel soon, and now Dukes of Hazzard is returning. All we need now is a revival of "240 Robert" and the stuff I watched on TV before I learned to read will all be back once more.
Here's hoping this time they'll either show some common decency and get rid of the Confederate Battle Flag and change the name of the Robert E. Lee, or else go whole hog and paint Swastikas on the doors and put KKK emblems on the hubcaps. I mean, what did they name their other cars? Erwin Rommel? James Earl Ray? Simon Legree? Maybe they'll update it a bit and name the car the "Timmy McVeigh"...

They could always refer to a different bit of "Recent Unpleasantness" (it's one of those "polite" terms for the U.S. Civil War) by trading in the rusty ol' Gen'ral Lee for a deluxe Winnebago, which would naturally be dubbed the Osama bin Laden Cruiser.

Not a bad idea. And a Winnebago would be a lot more fun to watch jump a ramp and go flying over a backwoods pond. Do they have to also paint it bright orange, though?

Of course, they could just change the battle flag to the "Stars and Bars," keeping the "Ol' South" affiliation without the KKK connotation.
A work friend of mine (State Farm) once had a Stars and Bars on her car, as they were both Civil War reenactors. (It's amazing who you'll find working in insurance.)
