The first trailer for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is here!
You can check it out on apple.com if you have QuickTime.
High Resolution: movies.apple.com/movies/wb/harry_potter_goblet/hp_gobletoffire_m480.mov
Medium Resolution: movies.apple.com/movies/wb/harry_potter_goblet/hp_gobletoffire_m320.mov
Low Resolution: movies.apple.com/movies/wb/harry_potter_goblet/hp_gobletoffire_m240.mov
VTM claims to have made a downloadable Windows Media Video of the trailer, but I haven't had any luck getting it. I'm not sure if they've been asked to take it down by the paranoid Mac-using QT-fiends on apple.com or if VTM is just running low on bandwidth at the moment. At any rate, the compressed WMV file is supposed to be available here: 69.64.51.32/~admin1/media/2005/05/07/gof_trailer_wmv.zip
TLC has, as usual, compiled a frame-by-frame comparison of The Book vs. The Movie, which you can see on their site, starting here: www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/extras/gof1/1.html
Five pages of large screencaps from the trailer can be seen here, if you have the patience to deal with VTM's bandwidth issues and let the page load fully: www.veritaserum.com/galleries/thumbnails.php?album=198
As a note of caution, all the Potter sites seem to be running slow today, even the ones who, like HPANA and VTM, wisely upgraded their servers and bandwidth packages in the last few months in anticipation of heightened Pottermania this summer and fall. Fandom has never had a new book and movie released so close together before, so it's likely going to be a wild ride.
But so, so worth it. *huge grin*
