Those scoop-masters at Children's BBC Newsround have revealed that French actress Clémence Poésy, and not Kate Win-slut -- I mean, Winslet -- would be playing Fleur Delacour. *does dance of joy* CBBC Newsround story (with picture): news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/tv_film/newsid_3806000/3806067.stmClémence Poésy's IMDb entry (no pictures): www.imdb.com/name/nm0993242/Poésy's only other English-speaking role was as Mary, Queen of Scots in a BBC TV movie, which I suppose is why the only pictures Newsround has of her feature Elizabethan costumes. 3 pictures provided by Newsround: news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/pictures/galleries/newsid_3806000/3806301.stmSo now we've got most of the Triwizard Champions cast. I don't think they've verified Stanislav Yanevski for Viktor Krum with Warner Bros., but once they do, I'll make a thread for him here. As far as I know, we're still waiting on announcements for the Patil twins, Ludo Bagman, the Crouches (I wouldn't be surprised if Barty Jr isn't cast until very late in the game), and of course, Bellatrix Lestrange and Voldemort himself.

Huh. I always envisioned Fleur as looking a lot like Kira from The Dark Crystal. It's roughly how the Veela were described, I think. And while this French babe with the unspellable name is indeed cute...either the pics on that CBBC site are bad, she's been made up in that film to appear older, or she's way too old to be playing Fleur.

Well, dearest Big Brother, she is 21, but then, Christian Coulson was around 21 when he played 15-year-old Tom Riddle in Chamber of Secrets, and I don't think any of us minded. ;D *coughespeciallynotPrincessMojocough* Besides, she's of age, so when you drool over her during the movie I won't have to remind you about age of consent laws. You only think she should look like Kira because Veela are blond and get bird-like when they're angry, and Kira has wings. However, Kira's wings aren't feathery, they're membranous (if that's a word). And also, this Poésy girl is not nearly as old as Kate Winslet. I'm so glad that disastrous casting was avoided.

Kate Winslut as Fleur? Ugh. Although, when younger, she at least looked more ethereal and Veela-like than this unspellable She-Frog. Besides, Kate would be so much better as Nymphadora Tonks.

Besides, Kate would be so much better as Nymphadora Tonks. Hmm... I don't know about you... but I pictured her a little less.... femenine. Maybe it's because she hates her ultra feminine name of Nymphadora and prefers... Tonks... which is awfully close to tonkers... (from what I've heard, British slang for balls) hmm... I'm trying to think of who I can think of that fits what I think she looks like, but, the only example I can think of is my Movement class that I used to take at the Arts High School I used to go to... LOL.... hmmm..... Maybe GI Jane? Yeah, Demi Moore works...she's got that kind of squarish jaw...

I think the chick to play Fleur is good. She's cute enough. As for who you picked for Tonks... perfect. She's adorable and still all.... I dunno... Tonks like.

D'ya think if I wrote in an unsolicited letter suggesting they look at Kate McEnery for Tonks, that they'd reply? Maybe it'd be better to contact Kate's agent and suggest that they inquire after the role.
