I actually meant to start this thread ages ago, but now seems to be as good a time as any.
Melissa from TLC and Emerson from MN are going to sit down for an extended, exclusive interview with J.K. Rowling the day of HBP's publication. Emerson has already told MuggleNet readers that the site will be taking question submissions to help him decide how best to use his time with the Harry Potter mastermind.
In preparation for this, and to satisfy my own curiosity, I'll pose the question:
What would you ask J.K. Rowling?
Your questions can range from general to highly specifice, from her personal history to character futures, from politics to music to personal hygiene.
I'll start off with one of mine, though I'll try not to make all of mine quite so Canon Mistressy. :-P
My predicted answer: "Yes," and "unicorn," though I do like the idea of phoenix tail-feather because it fits my "Fawkes-y Ladies" theory. I figure she probably gave James and Lily dragon heart-string and unicorn hair, respectively, to complement Harry's phoenix feather. And if Dumbledore had performed the Fidelius Charm, as so many bad fanfics claim, then he totally would have known that Peter was the Secret-Keeper and, after the house in Godric's Hollow blew up, the traitor-spy.

You told us through Mr. Ollivander that Lily's wand was made of willow and was good for charms. Were we supposed to understand by this that Lily performed the Fidelius Charm to make Peter their Secret-Keeper? And what magical material was inside her wand?
