The Door has opened once again and has given out three chapter titles:
CHAPTER TWO - Spinners End
CHAPTER SIX - Draco's Detour
CHAPTER FOURTEEN - Felix Felicis
Let the speculation begin.... ;D
I haven't got any notions about them, really except that the last title, I think has to do with the New DADA teacher and that he's probably the lion-like fellow in my sig.

CHAPTER TWO - Spinners End There are many different kinds of spinners... - spiders/acromantulas. Jo said in a chat that Aragog would be back... but the second chapter of the next book? How would Harry get himself to the Forbidden Forest so fast?
spinning as in making thread for cloth. Several things come to mind here: Clotho, one of the three Greek Fates (Moerae), who spun the thread of life before her sisters measured and cut it; Arachne, the cunning tapestry maker who was turned into a spinning spider in another Greek myth; Frigg, Norse domestic goddess whose astronomical distaff is also known as the constellation Orion.... - spinning like a top. Broken sneakoscopes would bring the spinning to the end...
That said... I think Spinners End is the new Headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. It's a house/homestead, rather like (and possibly a reference to) Bag End, Howard's End, etc... ::shrug:: It must be a British thing. CHAPTER SIX - Draco's Detour The only thing I can think of is Knockturn Alley. This is about when in the book Harry might be making the trip to Diagon Alley -- but would he be stupid enough to follow Draco somewhere? Or maybe I've been reading too much fanfiction. Though in mine, it was going to be Kreacher and not Draco leading them on a slight and dangerous detour... oh, well. CHAPTER FOURTEEN - Felix Felicis I haven't got any notions about them, really except that the last title, I think has to do with the New DADA teacher and that he's probably the lion-like fellow in my sig. I agree. Felis is Latin for "cat". Felix, as we know, is the name of a well-known cartoon cat, and also related to the Latin word for "lucky, fortunate, happy", from which we get such derivatives as felicitous and felicity -- and also the source of "felicis," its genitive singular form ("of luck"). Lucky cat, lucky cat, what are they feeding you? Lucky cat, lucky cat, it's not your fault! Oh, wait, wrong lyrics. Let's think about placement for this one as well. In OotP, Ch. 11 is "The Sorting Hat's New Song," followed by Ch. 12, "Professor Umbridge." Like all HP villains du jour, Umbridge reveals the depth of her evil in the ominous Chapter 13, "Detention with Dolores," where we first encounter the sadistic quill. (For more info on the Ch. 13 phenomenon, see www.mugglenet.com/books/chapter13.shtml.) So it's likely that this follows the pattern of other school-year-starting chapters: - SS/PS Ch. 7, "The Potions Master"
- CoS Ch. 6, "Gilderoy Lockhart"
- GoF Ch. 13, "Mad-Eye Moody"
- OotP Ch. 12, "Professor Umbridge"
Three out of those four were the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor... and goodness knows that "the Potions Master" wishes he were one, too.

I'm pretty sure "___ End" just means it's located at the end of the street, I think in a sort of cul de sac. Not sure though... have we got any cul de sacs anywhere?
Another thing it could be is Draco getting detoured..... that's what I thought of when I first saw the title... :-)

CHAPTER TWO - Spinners End I agree, my first thought was "So that's the name of the place where the Order moves after it abandons #12 Grimmauld Place like Weasels leaving a sinking ship". Er, or rats, but they seem to be off working for the other side. Heh, and I bet Hagrid talked Aragog into being their new watchdog, now that Sirius is...erm...otherwise busy. Someone needs to tell Harry to keep his mouth shut about certain subtopics while on this board. Let sleeping dogs lie, and all that. My first thought was that, like Harry and Ron's adventure with the flying car in Second Year, Draco would end up getting delayed/sent on a short adventure that makes him miss the first hours/days of the new school year. Hopefully he gets sent somewhere painful. Like out in the sunlight, giving his skin complexion. I'm sure Snape here would loan him some sunblock or make up a skinsalve potion when he finally turns up. Ugh, I hope that's not the name of the new DADA teacher the Lion Man. Even sillier and more obviously made-up than, say, Remus Lupin. No offense to a certain frequent visitor to my sister Lolua's bedroom (no, not like that, Tonks has nothing to worry about), of course, he can't help having the name JKR saddled him with. I figured it would be the incantation for a new spell, some sort of cheering charm that only works on cats, perhaps? Some sort of cheering charm powerful enough to make Snape giggle and prance around like Shirley Temple on a sugar high? Note that there is also a tradition of having chapters named after significant spells...Priori Incantantem, for instance. Or perhaps it's some sort of plant, a magical version of the cattail that has an actual cat attached somehow, for instance? But if this is the name of the new lion-man/HBP candidate/DADA teacher...I bet his dad's name was Leo. And that at some point he admits liking the Brazilian heavy metal band "Pantera". Or at least the American Cheese/Hair-metal one-hit-wonder band "White Lion". Okay, I'll stop now.
