I am known as "Nearly-Headless Nick" to the student body, but I prefer "Sir Nicholas". I am the resident ghost of Gryffindor House, being killed in a beheading gone awry on October 31, 1492 which left my head attached by a half-inch of skin and sinew. Consequently, I have been denied membership in the 'Headless Hunt' 487 times - but who's counting?

I'm an avid Quidditch fan, enjoy floating through walls with the Grey Lady, and am highly ill-tempered when petrified, though you'd never know it at the time . Also, I've found that re-enacting my flawed execution is great at parties.

You'll find me drifting about from time to time. Don't be afraid to say 'hello'.
