A rather cool teaser trailer for the next Star Wars film has been released. IMDB has multiple mirrors for this trailer. It's worth a download, but it seems to only be available in Quicktime format. You may need to update your Quicktime player (or get it if you don't have it) in order to view it.

A crapload of the footage is from earlier films in the series, particularly the starting narration by Alec Guiness' Obi-Wan Kenobi from Episode IV: A New Hope. But the new footage includes shots of erupting lava (apparently from the fight in which Anakin gets so badly burned he needs the complete cyborg makeover to become Darth Vader as seen in the classic trilogy) and several brief shots of space battles and so forth. And, of course, a kick-butt shot of Darth Vader in full dark lord cyborg gear being raised up on a frame like Frankenstein's monster.
And, yes, I realize this info is several days old. I've been busy taking care of my father after his recent Hip Replacement surgery. We now tease him about being part cyborg...
