I thought I'd start a place for rumors, factoids, and news about the third prequel movie, which we now know will be called

Star Wars
Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

What we know:
- The first part to be filmed was done during principal shooting on location in the Tunisian desert for the Lars compound sequence on Tatooine for Episode II: Attack of the Clones. The scene shot for the third prequel was known as the "Harry Potter scene" because it involved the delivery of infant Luke Skywalker to Owen and Beru Lars.
- Gary Oldman will be playing someone known as Darth Grievous. I suppose after "Darth Sidious" in Episode I: The Phantom Menace, nothing so badly named should come as a surprise.

There's lots more, but I'm not up on all the news and I'm feeling a bit lazy. Anyone have any more tidbits?

Just another sign that Lucas's movies are going down the nutster, he needs to have at least 1 major baddie killed off each movie now, rather than having some bloody continuity!

Gary Oldman's voice will NOT be heard in the upcoming STAR WARS film. Gary was offered, and agreed to perform in the film, in fact he was excited and looking forward to the work. The snag that made it impossible however is that this film is being made as a non-SAG (Screen Actor's Guild) film. George Lucas and gang agreed to hire Gary Oldman if he in fact would become a union buster, and perform work illegally overseas. As a resident of America, and also a member of SAG, out of respect and solidarity with the other members, he could not and would not consider violating his union's rules.

So Darth Grievous will be voiced by someone else.
